"Céad míle fáilte"
Your visit to our website is well timed as we celebrate 65 years of London GAA Football. Our club formed in 1948 and over the years many people have been involved in our club from all parts of Ireland.
Garryowen GFC presently competes at Intermediate level in London and we are working hard to develop our Club following a 5 year plan “Here we go”. In the present economic times it is very difficult to raise money or attract sponsors but we keep going forward as our main aim is to keep Garryowen GFC going and its proud tradition alive.
Training 2 nights per week (Tuesday & Thursday 7:30 – 8.45pm) in Gladstone Park, Dollis Hill, London with our trainer Eanna Kennedy (Limerick) diligently raises the fitness level of the Team and makes it enjoyable, we aim to stake our claim on the upcoming Intermediate Championship. If you wish to join our training sessions you are most welcome to come along.
The Club always welcome new players and if you have any family members coming over to London ask them to look us up and we will assist them with settling in London. They can contact us on any of our social media sites such as Facebook and Twitter, through the contact page on the website or my email address below.
Finally on behalf of Damien Phelan (Kilkenny) Secretary, Noel McLoughlin (Dublin) Treasurer and the entire Committee we welcome you to our Club.
